(aka: Heaven in a Cup)
This is the latte—the one I make every single morning unless I’m out of town. It’s creamy, perfectly sweet, and totally balanced with caramel, white chocolate, and cocoa. It’s my non-negotiable morning ritual.
Because for me, this latte isn’t 100% about caffeine—it’s about starting the day with something that feels right.
📋 Ingredients
– 2 shots espresso
– 1 pump sugar-free caramel syrup (or 2 pumps full-sugar)
– ½ oz white chocolate sauce (measured by weight)
– 2 tbsp Ghirardelli sweetened cocoa powder
– 11.5 oz milk (also measured by weight—use whatever milk you love)
📝 Directions
Steam the milk with the caramel syrup and white chocolate sauce already in the pitcher.
Pull 2 shots of espresso.
Stir in the cocoa powder at the end using a handheld frother or spoon.
Sip and enjoy your heaven in a cup.
💡 No Steam Wand? Froth and stir after heating. It’s still creamy and delicious.
💡 Want to batch it? Make a larger amount and use it like a homemade creamer. Add it to brewed coffee, a pod, or a French press. Use more or less depending on how strong you like your coffee—it's flexible, easy, and still deliciously indulgent.
☕ Why I Make This Every Morning
There was a time I packed cocoa powder when I traveled—trying to recreate this latte in random coffee shops by mixing it into their white chocolate and caramel. It never quite worked. And honestly? It made me grumpy.
I used to miss my latte. Now I reframe it—I have the chance to try new ones. I found one - the cappuccino in Punta Cana that earned a rare spot in my afternoon rotation.
🔥 Make It Your Own
Swap caramel for toasted marshmallow syrup and you’ve got a Campfire Mocha—my husband’s go-to. That white chocolate + cocoa combo is the perfect base to experiment with new flavors.
