Let’s talk about a recipe that delivers serious wow factor with minimal effort—Cheesy Braids and Crescent Rings! This is one of those “looks fancy, tastes amazing, but still totally doable” kind of dishes. Whether you're hosting friends, feeding the fam, or just want something cozy and cheesy, this one’s a keeper. Bonus? It’s totally customizable with your favorite seasonings and dough!

Ingredients:

  • 2 store-bought pizza doughs (or crescent roll dough for a shortcut)

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella

  • 4 tbsp shredded parmesan

  • 1 tbsp Pampered Chef Garlic Rub (or your favorite Garlic seasoning)

  • ½ tbsp Pampered Chef Three Onion Rub (or add some fresh green onions or onion seasoning of your choice)

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

  • Coarse salt, sesame seeds, or Everything Bagel seasoning (optional)

  • Optional - a few slices of American cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Make the Filling: In a bowl, food processor, or blender, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, Garlic Rub, and Three Onion Rub until smooth.

  3. Prep the Dough:

    • For Braids: Roll out pizza dough into rectangles. If you are using sliced cheese - put these down first then spread half the filling down the center third otherwise, move straight to spreading the filling. Cut strips along the sides and braid over the filling.

    • For Crescent Ring: Separate dough into triangles. Arrange in a circle with wide ends overlapping in the center and points facing out. Spoon the filling near the wide ends(if using cheese slices, put those down before spooning the filling on), fold tips over, and tuck under.

  4. Bake: Brush with egg wash. Sprinkle with your favorite topping. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

  5. Serve & Impress: Slice and serve warm!

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Minimal ingredients, major flavor.

  • Easy to prep ahead—bake right before serving.

  • Great for brunches, potlucks, or a cheesy weeknight win.

🧀 Extras: Add cooked bacon, some ham, sausage, or sautéed veggies to the filling if you're wanting to switch it up. Looking for more protein, use some blended cottage cheese for part of the cream cheese. Want even more flavor changes - swap out the flavored cheeses for different ones, such as some cheddar or your favorite cheese.
